We want to capture all the fun, feelings and facts of our 1000 Hours campaign as they happen in words, pictures and videos.
We aim to publish a daily blog with news of what’s been happening, pictures of those magic moments of kindness and a running total of the hours clocked up.
To do this we need your help in taking some pictures, short videos and writing a few words about what you have been up to.
We need brief details (around 100 words) of what happened, who was involved and the reaction of the people on the receiving end.
Pictures can speak a 1000 words. When taking them, try to use a digital camera, otherwise a mobile phone. Aim to capture the whole act of kindness in your picture, including both those giving and receiving plus the cake, flowers, food etc. Always include people in the picture and try to get as close-up a picture as you can and take several, as someone will always been looking the wrong way. If children or vulnerable adults are involved please get permission from the appropriate adult before including them (they are usually more than happy to agree) and don’t include the names in your write-up without permission.
Video clips should always be kept short (30 seconds is usually plenty), be taken landscape (sideways on your phone) and include some sound.
Please send your words, pictures and video to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible afterwards.

Running total: We have now hit the 50 hours mark, so well done.
