Heavy snowfall across Norfolk has not stopped the 1000 Hours campaign with people clearing snow, checking on neighbours and helping people whose cars have got stuck.
In Coltishall, Phil Heald and his daughters Elle (13) and Eva (11) cleared over 150m of pavement, following the heavy snow. The girls also cleared a crossing point at a junction, so that the curb was visible.
Phil said: “One passer-by who was out walking commented that he’d grown up in North Norfolk and appreciated seeing our good deed for the day.”
In the village of Wreningham, Keith Morris was able to help a neighbour who’s car was stuck in the snow as well as checking on a couple of vulnerable residents.
The great news is that the 1000 Hours campaign has passed the half-way mark and now stands at 525 hours. Well done everyone.
