We are up and running with the first 20 hours of voluntary work and acts of kindness logged on the website.
On the very first day of Lent, volunteers have baked brownies to give away, updated a charity website, given out a box of chocolates to a keyworker at a care home and baked a cottage pie for a family in Coltishall.
Pictured above are Emily and Ruby who gave their Nanny’s Key Worker, Lucy, a box of chocolates at Nanny’s care home.
We want to capture all the fun, feelings and facts of our 1000 Hours campaign as they happen in words, pictures and videos.
We aim to publish a daily blog with news of what’s been happening, pictures of those magic moments of kindness and a running total of the hours clocked up.
To do this we need your help in taking some pictures, short videos and writing a few words about what you have been up to. Please send them to email@example.com as soon as possible afterwards.
