1000 Hours volunteers have been making their presence felt cleaning road signs in Thorpe Hamlet and preparing school snacks in Hellesdon.
Many of the road signs in Thorpe End near Norwich are shiny and clean thanks to the Adlam family
Chris along with Toby, Grace and Jojo took a stepladder, cloths, water and detergent and cleaned as many signs as they could find. Lots of people beeped their horns ‑ hopefully in gratitude!
Noah and his mum Katie are big favourites at his pre-school, Heather Avenue in Hellesdon, after they got permission to take in a snack of the day. Fresh fruit salad for the children, rocky road for the staff (lucky teachers).
Both went down a treat and Noah was very excited to wear his new 1000Hours t-shirt for the day.
Today’s total is a magnificent 308 hours.
