With the 1000 Hours project drawing to a close at Easter, news of the final acts of kindness are still coming in.
A litter pick at Thorpe St Andrew School saw 15 bags of rubbish collected and two garden beds tidied up.
Penny (pictured below), Tim, Mark and Catherine tackled the weeds and the kitchen at the Gateway Hope into Action house in Norwich – thereby letting the residents know that they are being supported by church volunteers.
Gateway Vineyard senior pastor, Craig Deal, said: “What an incredible response to 1000 Hours. The project is over for now but let’s not stop doing simple acts of kindness.”
The total is a magnificent 1741 hours – well done to everyone who was involved.
