Baking cakes and drawing pictures as acts of kindness
Young members of Gateway Vineyard Church have been drawing pictures and baking cakes for residents of care homes in Norwich and Bungay as part of the 1000 Hours initiative.
Liberty, Sophia and Francesca Axon from Beccles (pictured above and right) did some painting and drawing of pictures for Holmwood residential care home in Bungay and to stick on their own windows to cheer-up passers-by.
Meanwhile, the Girls Life Group (pictured below) , led by Planet Kids pastor Claire Gardiner, baked some cakes for an Afternoon Tea party at DeCarle House in Norwich.
The activities all took place before social distancing requirements came into place.
