Litter picking, cakes, hampers and prayer cards
Final 1000Hours projects have included litter-picking at a High School, providing hampers for a domestic violence refuge, cakes for school-teachers and creating prophetic cards.
Cakes were also provided for staff at the school and at Hillside School.
She said: “Hampers included things like tea, coffee, milk, pasta, tinned foods and toiletries for children and adults. With very generous donations we were able to buy over £180 worth of goodies. We are hoping that this is something that the church can continue to supply the refuge with.”
A church lifegroup led by Joy McCann created cards with prophetic words/verses to give out and encourage people.
